Terms of use
The rules for using AdTechKit, in plain English. By using the website and its tools, you agree to them.
Last updated 1 October 2026
1. Who we are
AdTechKit is run by Jamie Hallitt, trading as AdTechKit, in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
2. What AdTechKit does
AdTechKit helps you make and plan ads for LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram: ad designs in every size, post text, previews, test versions, campaign plans, tracking links, budgets and customer list files. Most tools run entirely in your web browser; our privacy policy explains what's sent elsewhere and when.
AdTechKit isn't connected to, endorsed by or run by LinkedIn or Meta. LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram are trademarks of their owners.
3. Your content and your responsibilities
- You keep all rights in what you add (images, logos, words, customer lists) and in the ads you make. You confirm you have the right to use what you add.
- You're responsible for your ads and campaigns, including following LinkedIn's and Meta's advertising policies and the law, such as advertising standards and data protection rules.
- Only upload customer lists for people you're allowed to advertise to, and only to the platforms in line with their rules.
- Don't use AdTechKit for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading, to make ads that break the platforms' policies, or to try to break or overload the service.
4. AI features
- AI features (such as designing every size, writing copy, suggesting audiences, and making images) can make mistakes. Check everything before you use it: words, claims, targeting and images.
- Images made by AI are yours to use in your ads, subject to the AI provider's terms. Google adds an invisible SynthID marker to its images, and platforms may label AI-made images.
- Stock photos come from Unsplash under the Unsplash licence. Don't use them in a way that suggests the people shown endorse your product.
- We set fair-use limits on AI features to keep the service working for everyone, and may change them.
5. No guarantees about results
We work hard to keep sizes, limits and platform guidance accurate and up to date, but the platforms change their rules and tools often. We can't guarantee that an ad will be approved, delivered or successful, or that every piece of guidance is current. Always check in LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Meta Ads Manager before you spend money.
6. Plans and payment
The Free plan costs nothing. Pro features are currently in testing. Before paid plans start, we'll add the payment terms here (price, billing, cancelling and refunds), and they'll apply from the day you subscribe.
7. Your work is stored on your computer
Designs, campaigns and other work are saved in your own browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser's data, or using another computer, means it won't be there. Download design files and ads you want to keep.
8. Your account
- You don't need an account for the free tools. To sign in, use an email address you control; we email you a link each time, so keep your email account secure and don't forward sign-in links.
- An account is for one person. Paid plans will be tied to the account that pays for them.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
9. Changes and availability
We may improve, change or stop features. We aim to keep AdTechKit available, but can't promise it will always work without interruption. If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, AdTechKit is provided for business use, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses or lost profits, ad spend, or business. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you haven't paid anything).
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide any dispute.
